The police reported that the event occurred on Wednesday, April 22, at around 9 am, in a toilet on the second floor of the Foxconn facility near Devanahalli.

According to the police, the young woman, whose identity has not been disclosed, gave birth to the child inside the toilet. Shortly after delivery, she allegedly slit the baby's throat, resulting in its death. The body was discovered later, prompting an immediate investigation.
