Background of the Court Case

Police revealed on Saturday that Kumar had appeared in court for a case filed two years ago, where he was accused of allegedly eloping with a minor girl. This court appearance appears to be connected to the threats he had been receiving prior to the fatal attack. The case had been a source of ongoing tension for Kumar and his family.

Family Alleges Repeated Threats

Kumar's family members have come forward with disturbing claims about threats their relative had been receiving. His maternal uncle, Arvind Saw, stated that Kumar had been subjected to repeated threats from a man identified only as Mohan Ji.

"My nephew had been receiving repeated threats. A person named Mohanji used to threaten him in the name of TSPC extremists," Arvind Saw claimed during an interview with local media.

Another uncle, Arun Saw, provided additional concerning details, alleging that the family had been threatened even during their appearances at the court premises. "Once we were threatened inside the court premises," he stated, highlighting the brazen nature of the intimidation.

The family has named several individuals as suspects in the case, including Leela Devi, Adit Saw, and Durga Kumar. These allegations have added complexity to the ongoing police investigation.

Police Investigation Underway

Subdivisional Police Officer Sandeep Suman has confirmed that a thorough investigation is currently in progress. "Probe is underway from all angles to identify and arrest those involved," Suman stated. He further explained that authorities are examining multiple aspects of the case, including verifying mobile numbers from which threatening calls were allegedly made to the deceased before the attack.

The police are treating this as a high-priority case and are exploring all possible motives and connections. The investigation aims to determine whether the shooting was directly related to the court case, the alleged threats, or other factors that may have contributed to this violent act.

This incident has raised serious concerns about safety in the region, particularly for individuals involved in sensitive legal cases. The local community is awaiting further developments as police continue their investigation into this tragic loss of life.
