In a concerning incident in Rewari, Haryana, a black Scorpio SUV belonging to former state minister Jaswant Bawal was stolen from outside his residence in Sector-3 during the early hours of Saturday. The theft occurred around 2 am, when the Scorpio, purchased approximately 10 months ago and bearing registration number HR36AT8598, was parked alongside another SUV outside Bawal's house. According to police reports, the stolen vehicle was a high-value asset, and the swift nature of the crime has raised alarms in the community.
Investigators revealed that CCTV footage captured the suspects arriving in a small hatchback, suspected to be a Maruti Alto, which allegedly lacked a number plate. The vehicle was first observed passing through the lane, seemingly to survey the area, and returned about 10 minutes later to carry out the theft.

One of the suspects exited the hatchback, broke the SUV's window, and drove away with it within minutes, while accomplices fled in the hatchback.
