Vadodara: Two Arrested for Stealing DJ System Worth Rs 5 Lakh

Vadodara Police Crack Down on DJ System Theft, Arrest Two Suspects

In a significant breakthrough, the Detection of Crime Branch (DCB) in Vadodara apprehended two individuals on Tuesday for the theft of a high-value DJ system. The arrested men have been identified as Akshay Rathwa and Devang Rathwa, both residents of Chhota Udepur. This arrest highlights the diligent efforts of local law enforcement in tackling property crimes in the region.

Interception and Confession Lead to Recovery

Police officials reported that they intercepted a vehicle near Kapurai Crossroads, where the duo was traveling. Upon questioning, Akshay and Devang failed to provide a satisfactory explanation for the DJ system found in their car. Subsequently, they confessed to having stolen the equipment from a godown located in Dhaniyavi village near Tarsali approximately one week prior to their arrest.

Motivation Behind the Theft: Aspiring DJ Business

The accused revealed to investigators that their primary motive was to venture into the DJ business. However, lacking sufficient funds to purchase the necessary equipment, they resorted to theft. To plan their crime, the duo conducted reconnaissance by posing as potential customers at multiple shops selling DJ systems, gathering information to facilitate the theft.
