According to police sources, the case was reported from Shailashree Vihar. The girl had been working at the businessman's residence for approximately one year, during which she endured alleged physical abuse. The situation escalated when the minor fled her employer's house after being thrashed and harassed. Locals discovered her crying on the road and immediately alerted the authorities.
A police officer stated, "We brought her to the station and counselled her. The child will undergo counselling for the next few days, while her parents will be sensitised against child labour practices." The girl has been admitted to Capital Hospital, where her condition is currently stable.
