With the assistance of municipal councillor Furkan, the family launched a search operation and eventually filed a missing person's complaint on the night of March 24. Initially, Odich, who was a friend of Rohitsinh, pretended to be unaware of the situation and even joined in the search efforts, adding a layer of deception to the case.
