The tragic accident occurred in Imliyakhera village where the victim, identified as Arjun, son of Tinkal, was standing near the roadside. A community feast (bhandara) was being held at the location, attracting villagers to the area. According to eyewitness accounts, a car hit the young child with such tremendous force that he was dragged for approximately 30 meters following the initial impact.
Local residents immediately sprang into action, stopping the vehicle and rushing the seriously injured boy to the community health centre at Mohanlalganj. Despite their efforts, doctors declared Arjun dead upon arrival, unable to save him from the severe injuries sustained in the collision.

Police soon arrived at the spot and worked to pacify the emotional crowd, assuring them that strict legal action would be taken against the driver responsible. Officers then escorted all three women to the Mohanlalganj police station for detailed questioning regarding the circumstances of the accident.
