Andhra Pradesh Government Approves Major Judicial Expansion in Visakhapatnam District
The Andhra Pradesh government has taken a significant step to enhance judicial infrastructure by sanctioning 14 additional courts for the combined Visakhapatnam district. This move aims to improve access to justice and reduce case backlogs in the region.

Of the newly sanctioned courts, 11 will be established within the Greater Visakhapatnam jurisdiction. The remaining three courts include an additional district session judge court, a second additional junior civil judge court in Narsipatnam, and one court at Yalamanchili in Anakapalli district.

- Two additional family courts
- Three additional chief judicial magistrate additional civil judge (senior division) courts
- A family court in Gajuwaka
- An additional district session judge court at Narsipatnam
