This revenue was accrued through the excavation of both major and minor minerals, showcasing the district's rich mineral wealth. Following Sonbhadra, Mahoba district contributed Rs 395 crore, derived from duties, charges, and royalties levied on mining businesses. The revenue ranking continues with Hamirpur, Jhansi, and Jalaun districts, in that order, demonstrating a widespread economic impact across the state.
