In a significant move to ensure high-level participation, Telangana Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy has personally directed his cabinet colleagues to embark on a nationwide outreach. Each minister has been tasked with traveling to specific states to personally extend invitations to their respective chief ministers for the upcoming Telangana Rising Global Summit.
Ministers Embark on Nationwide Invitation Drive
The coordinated exercise will see ministers fanning out across the country starting December 4. The summit itself is scheduled for December 8 and 9 at the Bharat Future City in Hyderabad. In a parallel effort, Chief Minister Revanth Reddy and Deputy Chief Minister Bhatti Vikramarka left for New Delhi on Tuesday night. Their mission is to invite Prime Minister Narendra Modi, key Union ministers, and All India Congress Committee (AICC) leaders Mallikarjun Kharge and Rahul Gandhi.
The detailed ministerial assignments are as follows:
- N Uttam Kumar Reddy: Jammu & Kashmir and Gujarat
- Damodar Raja Narasimha: Punjab and Haryana
- Komatireddy Venkat Reddy: Andhra Pradesh
- D Sridhar Babu: Karnataka and Tamil Nadu
- Ponguleti Srinivas Reddy: Uttar Pradesh
- Ponnam Prabhakar: Rajasthan
- Konda Surekha: Chhattisgarh
- Seethakka: West Bengal
- Tummala Nageswara Rao: Madhya Pradesh

Additionally, Congress Members of Parliament from Telangana will extend invitations to chief ministers, Union ministers, and governors.
Showcasing Telangana's Heritage Through Souvenirs
Delegates attending the summit will be treated to a taste of Telangana's rich culture. They will receive curated souvenir kits and food baskets designed to showcase the state's heritage. The souvenir kits will include iconic items such as Pochampally shawls, Cheriyal masks, Hyderabadi attar (perfume), and jewellery crafted with Hyderabadi pearls, including bracelets and earrings.
The food baskets aim to highlight the region's culinary delights, featuring traditional treats like Mahua laddus, sakinaalu, appalu, and badam ki jali.
Final Preparations in Full Swing
Meanwhile, Deputy Chief Minister Bhatti Vikramarka is overseeing the final logistical preparations. On Tuesday, he visited the Telangana Rising 2047 vision document war room at Praja Bhavan. He instructed officials to expedite the finalisation of this crucial document. He also conducted a comprehensive review with the chairpersons and teams of various committees responsible for different aspects of the summit.
The committees overseeing invitations, hospitality, venue management, logistics, transport, the main programme, cultural events, communication, and digital media communication presented their progress and plans. This meticulous planning underscores the state government's commitment to hosting a successful and impactful global event that puts Telangana on the world map.
