Tension gripped the Vaidpuri area of Transport Nagar in Jaipur on Wednesday following the unsettling discovery of a severed cattle head. The incident prompted immediate police intervention, with officers arriving at the scene to secure the remains and initiate an investigation.

In response to the incident, members of the Bajrang Dal organized a protest outside the local police station. The demonstration was led by Bajrang Dal district secretary Jeet, who arrived with supporters to voice their demands for justice.
The organization has formally lodged a complaint with authorities and issued a warning of further protests if swift and decisive action is not taken. "We will not tolerate such acts and expect the police to act promptly," a representative stated.
Police Investigation Unveils Background Details
Transport Nagar SHO Arun Kumar provided crucial context to the case. He revealed that the calf belonged to a local resident, Vikas Harijan, and had died four days prior after being attacked by dogs.
According to the complainant, the cow had ceased producing milk following the calf's death. He alleged that the severed head of the calf was deliberately placed before the cow, after which it mysteriously resumed milk production.
Official Police Statement and Ongoing Probe
SHO Arun Kumar confirmed that a formal complaint has been registered in connection with the incident. "The cattle head found at the scene has been sent for post-mortem examination to determine the exact circumstances of its severance," he stated.
He further assured that a thorough investigation is currently underway to uncover all facts and identify those responsible. "We are examining all angles and will take appropriate legal action based on our findings," Kumar added.
