The motorcycle collided with a Tempo truck owned by Mustafa Saheb from Shirva. The impact of the collision was severe, causing both the rider and pillion rider to be thrown onto the road. Bhaskar Nayak sustained critical head injuries that resulted in profuse bleeding, while Purushottam Nayak suffered bleeding injuries to his leg.
