The red Toyota Glanza first struck a motorcycle carrying two students, including a woman, hurling them onto the APJ Abdul Kalam Road. Eyewitnesses reported that the driver appeared to lose control after this initial impact. The vehicle then hit three more women students who were walking along the roadside before ultimately crashing into a tree.

The injured include a student from Sharda University, who was riding the motorcycle. Three others injured are students from GL Bajaj College. All five victims were rushed to Sharda Hospital by police personnel. Doctors confirmed that three students were discharged following primary treatment, but two remain hospitalised and are said to be in serious condition, requiring ongoing medical care.
