Nagpur Youth Arrested for Alleged Rape of Minor Girlfriend, Victim Now Eight-Months Pregnant
In a disturbing case from Nagpur, Maharashtra, a 19-year-old youth has been taken into custody by police for allegedly raping his 17-year-old minor girlfriend on multiple occasions. The victim is currently eight months pregnant, adding a grave dimension to the charges.

According to officials from the Koradi police station, the minor girl was in a relationship with the accused. Between June 1, 2025, and March 26, 2026, he is alleged to have taken her to isolated locations along Kamptee-Amravati Road and other areas. During these encounters, police claim he repeatedly engaged in sexual intercourse with her against her will.
Police Action and Legal Proceedings
The victim filed a formal complaint on March 27, 2026. Based on her detailed statement, authorities promptly registered a case against the accused under relevant sections of the Indian Penal Code (IPC) as well as the stringent Protection of Children from Sexual Offences (POCSO) Act. The accused was arrested on the same day, demonstrating swift police response.
