Major Fire Erupts in Indore Parking Area, Three Buses Completely Gutted
A significant fire incident occurred in a private parking area near Teen Imli in Indore on Saturday night, resulting in three buses being completely destroyed and sparking widespread panic among local residents. The blaze, which took place under the jurisdiction of the Bhanwarkuan police station, sent thick plumes of smoke and intense flames high into the night sky, visible from a considerable distance and attracting a large crowd of onlookers to the scene.
Swift Emergency Response Prevents Further Damage
Police teams from Bhanwarkuan rushed to the site immediately after receiving alerts and began clearing the area to ensure the safety of nearby individuals. Fire brigade personnel also arrived promptly and launched extensive firefighting operations. Multiple fire tenders and water tankers were deployed to contain and extinguish the flames, working diligently to bring the situation under control.
Quick Actions by Traffic Personnel Save More Vehicles
Traffic head constable Mukesh Lashkari, among the first responders, noticed the flames and immediately alerted bus drivers by blowing his whistle. Drivers were instructed to move their vehicles out of the parking area without delay. At the time of the incident, more than 25 buses were parked in the vicinity, and all were swiftly relocated, preventing the fire from spreading to additional vehicles. Traffic personnel simultaneously dispersed the gathering crowd and regulated movement on the road to avoid congestion and ensure smooth emergency operations.
Investigation Underway to Determine Fire Cause
According to police reports, the fire initially erupted in one bus and rapidly spread to two others parked nearby. All three private buses were completely gutted in the blaze. Assistant Commissioner of Police Vijay Choudhary from the Juni Indore division confirmed that there were no casualties in the incident, highlighting the effectiveness of the emergency response. Police authorities have stated that the exact cause of the fire is yet to be determined, and investigations are ongoing to ascertain the origins of this destructive event.
