A man and a woman have found themselves on the wrong side of the law in Indore after a heated confrontation with traffic police officials. The Sarafa police have registered a formal case against the duo for allegedly obstructing government work. According to the official complaint filed by Head Constable Hiralal Gari of the traffic department, the event occurred on Monday evening. Gari was on duty with a crane team in the Rajwada locality to tackle parking violations. The team proceeded to lift a car with registration number MP09 AL 1308 from outside Imamwada, as it was parked in a no-parking zone.
The situation escalated when the car owner, identified as Vishal Bhatia, and a woman named Varsha arrived at the spot. They strongly objected to the action taken by the authorities. Police reports state that the pair insisted on the immediate release of their vehicle. When the crane staff refused to comply, the woman, Varsha, allegedly took matters into her own hands.
Altercation and Obstruction of Official Duty
In an attempt to stop the process, Varsha reportedly positioned herself in front of the crane, physically blocking the support vehicle. This act led to a prolonged argument and disrupted the official procedure. The duo also engaged in a verbal spat with traffic department driver Sujal Kaushal.
Sarafa police station in-charge Rajkumar Litoriya provided further details, noting that despite repeated attempts by senior officials to de-escalate the tension and calm the situation, the woman continued to misbehave. Her persistent obstruction and argumentative behavior left the police with little choice but to take formal action.
