CM Yogi Adityanath Hears Grievances of 200 People at Janata Darshan
Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath on Wednesday personally heard the grievances of around 200 people during the ‘Janata Darshan’ programme held at his official residence. He issued strict directives to officials to ensure prompt and effective resolution of every complaint.
Directives for Prompt Action
During the interaction, CM Adityanath assured the petitioners that their issues would be addressed without delay. “Do not worry, effective action will be ensured on every grievance,” he told the gathering. He instructed district magistrates and senior officers to personally monitor the resolution process and submit compliance reports.
Focus on Grievance Redressal Mechanism
The CM emphasized that the state government is committed to a transparent and time-bound grievance redressal system. He asked officials to identify systemic issues causing repeated complaints and resolve them at the root level. The Janata Darshan is a weekly event where citizens can directly present their problems to the CM.
According to a government spokesperson, over 200 people from various districts registered their grievances, ranging from land disputes and pension issues to law and order problems. The CM listened patiently to each petitioner and marked their applications for necessary action.
Ensuring Accountability
Adityanath warned that any negligence in handling public grievances would not be tolerated. He directed the chief secretary to set up a monitoring cell to track the status of complaints raised during Janata Darshan. “Officials must ensure prompt resolution of public grievances,” he reiterated.
The state government has also launched an online portal for citizens to file complaints, complementing the physical Janata Darshan. The CM urged people to use both channels to seek timely justice.
