Teenager Fatally Stabbed in Northeast Delhi's Subhash Vihar
An 18-year-old boy was allegedly stabbed to death in the early hours of Tuesday in northeast Delhi's Subhash Vihar area. The victim, identified as Mohammad Asif, a resident of Subhash Mohalla, was found critically injured near a temple in Subhash Vihar, North Gonda.
Police Response and Investigation
Police said they received information about the stabbing following which a team from Bhajanpura police station rushed to the spot. By the time officers arrived, Asif had already been taken to JPC Hospital by his family members. He later succumbed to his injuries during treatment at the medical facility.
A forensic team thoroughly inspected the crime scene and collected crucial evidence from the location. The body has been sent to GTB Hospital for a comprehensive post-mortem examination to determine the exact cause of death and gather additional forensic evidence.

Authorities have registered a case under Section 103 (murder) of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita at Bhajanpura police station. Multiple specialized police teams have been deployed to identify and apprehend the accused individuals involved in this violent crime. Family Statement and Circumstances
The father of the deceased victim stated, "I am not aware of the entire incident. He might have gotten into conflict, the killers might be someone in his known. He was stabbed. He was lying near the temple and we got to know after the children here saw him." This statement suggests the possibility of the attack being carried out by someone familiar to the victim, though police investigations continue to explore all angles.
The incident has sent shockwaves through the local community, raising concerns about public safety in the area. Residents are cooperating with police authorities as the investigation progresses to bring the perpetrators to justice.
