Reasons for Success

The Housing and Urban Development Department attributed this performance to close coordination with urban local bodies and faster execution at the ground level. Officials expressed confidence that the remaining targets would be achieved within the stipulated timeline.

Minister’s Directive

Krushna Chandra Mahapatra, the Housing and Urban Development Minister, directed officials to further expedite construction works. He asked them to complete the remaining houses ahead of schedule, emphasizing the need for timely execution, adherence to quality standards, and quick delivery of benefits to eligible urban poor families.
