A shocking incident has come to light in Ahmedabad, where a 15-year-old girl was allegedly kidnapped and repeatedly raped by a former neighbour. The minor, who resides with her mother, was taken from her current home to a hotel room where the assault took place, according to police officials.
Suspect's Background
The accused, a resident of Ghodasar, is reportedly a known anti-social element with a criminal history. Local residents have provided the police with a video confession of the accused along with other details. However, a formal First Information Report (FIR) had not been registered until the latest reports came in.
Victim's Family History
The victim's family previously lived in Ghodasar but moved away due to a two-year-old rivalry with the accused. The incident came to light after neighbours confronted the man, who allegedly confessed to the crime. During the confrontation, he reportedly admitted on video that he had forced the girl to shower and change her clothes after the assault.

Residents allege that the accused threatened them with dire consequences and warned them against filing a police complaint. Sola High Court police inspector K N Bhukan confirmed that the incident was reported and that a preliminary investigation is underway.
