Buxar DM Orders 'Didi ki Rasoi' Rebranded as 'Didi ka Cafe'

Buxar District Magistrate Sahila on Friday issued a directive to the district project manager of Jeevika to transform the 'Didi ki Rasoi' initiative into a model facility and rebrand it as 'Didi ka Cafe'. The order was given during a review meeting attended by officials from the rural development department, the district registration and counselling centre, and Jeevika.

Review of Government Schemes

During the meeting, the DM reviewed the progress of various government schemes. She instructed officials to provide modern technology training to all Jeevika Didis. Furthermore, she emphasized the need for better inter-departmental coordination to ensure that beneficiaries trained through the Rural Self Employment Training Institute (RSETI) can access benefits under various government welfare schemes.

Action on Slow Progress

Expressing dissatisfaction over the slow progress in generating man-days under the G-Ram G scheme, the DM ordered the withholding of one month's salary, until further orders, of programme officers posted in Buxar, Itadhi, Rajpur, Simri, Nawanagar, and Chougain blocks. All block development officers were instructed to inspect sports infrastructure developed in their respective areas and submit reports with photographs within one week. Additionally, the DM directed officials to identify suitable government land for the development of rural markets (haat-bazars).
