Schools Nationwide Honor Swami Vivekananda on National Youth Day

Educational institutions across India enthusiastically observed National Youth Day. This important day marks the 163rd birth anniversary of the revered spiritual leader Swami Vivekananda. Schools organized various activities to celebrate his legacy and inspire young minds.

Vibrant Celebrations at Multiple Schools

At Surendranath Centenary School, the art and culture club led the celebrations with great energy. Students dressed as Swami Vivekananda delivered his famous Chicago speech. The event continued with poetic recitations and a harmonious group song.

Cambrian Public School on Kanke Road conducted a series of engaging activities. These programs highlighted the life, teachings, and ideals of the spiritual leader. Principal Paramjit Kaur shared her thoughts on the occasion. She stated that Swami Vivekananda's values and principles remain highly relevant in today's modern world.

Narbheram Hansraj English School in Jamshedpur focused its celebration on inspiring students. The school aimed to encourage young people to imbibe Swami Vivekananda's ideals. Principal Paramita Roy Chaudhary emphasized a crucial aspect of education. She explained that true education should not only impart knowledge but also build strong character and confidence among students.

Road Safety Awareness Workshop

Surendranath Centenary School also hosted an important awareness workshop on road safety. This event took place on January 11 as part of National Road Safety Month. The workshop addressed the concerning rise in road accidents following a huge increase in vehicle numbers.

Ranchi Traffic DSP Pramod Kumar Keshari addressed students and staff during the workshop. He shared vital tips on safe driving practices and traffic discipline. The DSP emphasized several key safety measures. These included consistent helmet and seat belt usage, responsible speed control, strict adherence to traffic rules, and avoiding mobile phone use while driving.

Bridgeford School's Silver Jubilee Celebration

Bridgeford School marked a significant milestone with its 25th anniversary celebration. The school organized a special program titled 'Silver Spectacle' on January 11 to commemorate this occasion.

The event attracted distinguished guests from various fields. Rajya Sabha Deputy Chairman Harivansh attended as the chief guest. Minister of State for Defence Sanjay Seth and Hatia MLA Naveen Jaiswal participated as special guests.

The celebration featured diverse cultural performances that entertained attendees. A special presentation of the Ramayana titled 'Dharma–The Unbroken Line' formed a highlight of the program. This artistic performance added depth and cultural significance to the silver jubilee celebrations.
