Welfare Party Urges Kerala to Vote Against Left to Thwart Sangh Parivar Plans
Welfare Party: Vote Against Left to Stop Sangh Parivar in Kerala

Welfare Party Calls for Kerala to Reject Left Rule to Counter Sangh Parivar Strategy

In a significant political development, the Welfare Party of India (WPI) has asserted that Kerala must vote against the continuation of Left rule to defeat the political machinations of the Sangh Parivar. WPI state president Razak Paleri made this appeal, emphasizing the need to use the upcoming assembly elections to thwart the Sangh Parivar's plan to maintain a favourable social environment by keeping the Left in power.

Allegations of Societal Disintegration Under Left Governance

Speaking to reporters in Thiruvananthapuram, Paleri accused the RSS of leading ethnic and hate politics in various states. He claimed that in Kerala, an atmosphere for societal disintegration and social polarization through hate campaigns has been created over the past 10 years of Left rule. "In the last decade, the Sangh Parivar has been attempting to dismantle two key defences: the social structure and the presence of two secular fronts," Paleri stated, highlighting what he sees as a deliberate strategy.

Left Government's Encouraging Approach to Sangh Parivar Activities

Paleri further alleged that Kerala has witnessed an encouraging approach from the Left government towards all activities carried out by the Sangh Parivar. He pointed out that the BJP has prepared a long-term plan to break the strong secular coalition in the state and become the largest party in the future. According to Paleri, the Sangh Parivar adopted a strategy to eliminate the United Democratic Front (UDF) and gradually move into that position once they had the opportunity to implement their interests under the Left government.

Police Policy Benefiting Sangh Parivar

A critical accusation made by Paleri concerns the police policy of the Pinarayi Vijayan-led government. He asserted that since coming to power, the only beneficiary of this policy has been the Sangh Parivar. "The government ensured all kinds of protection for police officers who took a pro-Sangh Parivar stance. They protected them even by overcoming opposition from component party leaders," Paleri claimed. He added that in states without political power, the Sangh Parivar's attempt to create a favourable environment using the police system succeeded during the Pinarayi government's tenure.

Call for Unity and Support for UDF

Paleri urged the people of Kerala to unite to defeat the Sangh Parivar's plan of leftist governance continuity. He emphasized that the strongest possible resistance against the BJP in Kerala is the unity of minority groups. With this interest in mind, the Welfare Party has decided to support the UDF, another secular front in Kerala, in the assembly election. "The people must unite to defeat the Sangh Parivar's plan. We believe supporting UDF is crucial to prevent further polarization," Paleri concluded, framing the election as a pivotal moment for Kerala's secular fabric.
