In response to unseasonal rainfall that affected several parts of Uttar Pradesh on Friday, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has taken decisive action to address potential agricultural losses. The unexpected weather event has raised significant concerns about damage to standing crops across the state.
Directives Issued to District Administration
The Chief Minister has instructed all district magistrates to remain on high alert and personally conduct thorough inspections of agricultural fields to determine the extent of any crop damage. - The Crop Insurance App for digital submissions

- Online platforms under the Pradhan Mantri Fasal Bima Yojana
- Digital interfaces for the Restructured Weather Based Crop Insurance Scheme
"All information should be collected on time and made available to the government so that there is no delay in relief operations," stated a government spokesperson, highlighting the administration's commitment to efficient response.

Farmers experiencing difficulties with crop insurance claims have been provided with multiple support options:
- Direct contact with district deputy directors of agriculture
- Assistance from district agriculture officers
