Also among the deceased were Sharanappa, 36, his wife Nisarga, 30, and their three children: sons Siddhartha, 3, and Advik, 5, and daughter Srinidhi, who was just one-and-a-half years old. Additionally, Shashikala, 30, and her son Chandan, 8, lost their lives in the tragedy.
The family was returning from Surpur after a darshan of Venugopalaswami and was headed towards Lingasugur from Yadgir, while the bus was en route from Bengaluru to Kalaburagi. This journey, meant for spiritual reflection, ended in unimaginable sorrow, underscoring the fragility of life on the road.
