The police have identified the deceased as Roshan Kumar, aged 18, son of Sohan Pandit, and Jitendra Kumar, aged 21, son of Jai Kishore Das. Both hailed from Ghanshyampur Besi village, which falls under the Aurai police station area in Muzaffarpur district.
According to statements from family members, the two youths had traveled from Jhalsi village in Sitamarhi district to attend a relative's wedding in Bhadiyan village on Friday night. After participating in the joyous wedding procession, they were returning home on their motorcycle when disaster struck.

The accident occurred near the turn towards Aurai at Manguraha bridge, within the Nanpur police station area. SHO Rupesh Kumar provided insights into the preliminary findings, stating that it appears an unidentified vehicle collided with their bike with such tremendous force that both youths died instantly at the scene.
"The exact cause of death will be confirmed only after the postmortem report is available," Kumar emphasized. He added that the police have seized the motorcycle and launched an intensive investigation to locate the unidentified vehicle involved in the crash.
