Bandi Sanjay Alleges Secret Pact Between KCR & Revanth, Vows to Expose Corruption
BJP's Bandi Sanjay alleges secret KCR-Revanth pact, corruption

In a fiery press interaction in Hyderabad on Thursday, Union Minister and senior Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) leader Bandi Sanjay Kumar launched a scathing attack on both the previous and current governments of Telangana, making sensational allegations of secret agreements and large-scale corruption.

Allegations of a Covert Understanding

Sanjay Kumar put forth a controversial theory, suggesting that the apparent political rivalry between former Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao (KCR) and the incumbent CM, Revanth Reddy of the Congress, might be a staged affair. He questioned whether Revanth Reddy's harsh public criticism of KCR was a deliberate tactic to generate public sympathy for the Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS) founder. The BJP leader alleged that this could be part of a secret pact between the two leaders.

He minced no words in his condemnation of KCR, labeling him the "biggest curse for Telangana." Sanjay Kumar also stated that the arrogance of KCR's son, KT Rama Rao, remained undiminished despite losing power. He accused the current Congress administration of mirroring the BRS government's lack of transparency, particularly in not making government orders public.

Claims of Rampant Corruption and a Coming Expose

The Union Minister trained his guns on the performance of the Congress government, alleging deep-rooted malpractice. He claimed that two or three ministers in the state cabinet are exploiting legal loopholes to engage in corrupt activities involving thousands of crores of rupees.

In a significant revelation, Sanjay Kumar asserted that intelligence reports detailing the misconduct of these ministers are already being gathered. He issued a stern warning, declaring that the BJP would soon expose these alleged misdeeds to the public. The party plans to launch a major campaign targeting Congress corruption in Telangana, he vowed.

KCR Held Responsible for Krishna Waters & Phone-Tapping

Shifting focus to a longstanding regional issue, Sanjay Kumar squarely blamed KCR for what he termed an injustice to Telangana regarding the Krishna river waters. He accused the former CM of being a "traitor to the state" for agreeing to an allocation of only 299 TMC (thousand million cubic feet) instead of the 575 TMC that Telangana is due.

He stated the BJP is prepared to reveal the details of agreements made during an apex committee meeting, which he claimed was attended by Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Jaganmohan Reddy. Furthermore, Sanjay Kumar reiterated serious allegations against KCR's family, calling them the primary problem for Telangana.

He connected the family directly to the infamous phone-tapping case, alleging they were responsible for spying on around 6,000 phones and ruining numerous lives. The BJP leader concluded with a strong promise, asserting that all those found guilty in the case would be sent to jail if his party comes to power in the state.
