The victims have been identified as Rajkumar Yadav, aged 23, and Nitish Kumar Yadav, aged 24. Rajkumar was the son of Ramdutt Yadav and a resident of Maujha (ward 6). Nitish was the son of Indradev Yadav. According to preliminary information from the police, the two friends were riding a motorcycle for some personal work when the accident happened.
Near Sohagpur village, their speeding bike is reported to have suddenly lost control. The vehicle veered off the road and collided with tremendous force against a tree standing on the roadside. The impact of the collision was so severe that both riders succumbed to their injuries on the spot.
