The federal anti-terror agency executed searches at a total of 12 premises spread across Bihar, Uttar Pradesh, and the national capital, Delhi. The case, numbered RC-01/2024/NIA/DLI, pertains to the illicit trafficking of sophisticated firearms and ammunition.
The raids were carried out in the early hours of Tuesday, March 19, 2024. Teams focused on locations linked to suspects believed to be key players in the interstate smuggling racket. The operation aimed to gather crucial digital and physical evidence, including documents, mobile phones, and other materials that could establish the chain of procurement and distribution.
