Muzaffarpur Rape Case: 12-Year-Old Victim in Critical Condition, Three Women Arrested

As the girl's condition began to deteriorate, the three women allegedly attempted to sedate her by administering some medicines. When her health continued to worsen, all the accused fled the scene, leaving the child in a critical state. She was later found and rushed to a medical facility for urgent treatment.

The girl's father, who was away selling bhoonja (roasted grains) at the time, expressed his devastation upon returning home. "When I returned home, I came to know what had happened to my daughter. I went to the women who had taken her, but they claimed they knew nothing. My daughter's condition is very bad. She is admitted to a hospital and her condition is critical," he said. Family members have also accused the three women of trying to suppress the case.
Police were informed by the family on April 10, after they learned about the incident. The girl received primary treatment before being referred to a higher medical institution for advanced care, where she remains in critical condition.

Sub-divisional police officer (SDPO) Suresh Kumar stated, "Three women have been taken into custody and are being questioned. The main accused will be arrested soon. The crime spot has been preserved, and we are working meticulously on every aspect of the case. No guilty person will be spared."
An FSL team has collected samples from the scene, and police have sealed the room where the incident allegedly took place, along with the main gate of the house, to preserve crucial evidence. A thorough search is underway to apprehend the absconding main accused.
