The event unfolded when the bus driver had stepped down from the driving seat to issue tickets to passengers, leaving the vehicle unattended.

The person, identified as Duvvi Kiran, a native of Vizianagaram district, seized the opportunity to drive the bus away. He navigated the vehicle to Jagadamba junction, covering a distance of over 500 meters. During this reckless drive, Kiran dashed into a parked car along the way, adding to the chaos and potential danger.
