A 26-year-old man, identified as Muhammed Musthafa, lost his life in a devastating accident in the early hours of Tuesday when his motorcycle collided with a Metro pillar at Kalamassery in Kochi. Police sources revealed that Musthafa, who ran a startup company along with his friends in Kochi, was on his way to his hometown when the tragic incident occurred. Preliminary investigations suggest that he lost control of the vehicle, leading to the crash into Metro pillar number 293. Separate Incident: Car Catches Fire in Edapally

In an unrelated but alarming event on Tuesday evening, a moving car caught fire near Edapally around 6:30 PM. The driver managed to exit the vehicle in time, escaping with minor injuries. Upon receiving alerts, fire force units from Eloor and Thrikkakara fire stations rushed to the spot and successfully doused the flames.

Officials reported that the driver stopped the car immediately after noticing smoke emanating from the front portion. The vehicle was almost completely gutted in the fire, and the exact cause will only be determined after a thorough investigation by authorities.

  • 53 cases against buses not stopping at designated stops and 10 cases for overtaking from the left side.
