The caller allegedly demanded Rs 2 crore as extortion money and issued a chilling threat to eliminate his entire family if the demand was not met.
When Chaudhary inquired about the caller's identity, the individual claimed to be Randeep Malik, purportedly an associate of the notorious Lawrence Bishnoi gang. The caller further warned Chaudhary against informing the police, adding to the intimidation.

Initially, Chaudhary was too frightened to take immediate action. However, after discussing the situation with his family later that night, they collectively decided to approach the authorities. In his complaint, Chaudhary urged the police to:
