Police Respond to Disturbing Call

Bhuna police station in-charge sub-inspector Om Prakash reported that authorities received urgent information about a woman being seriously injured after an attack by her husband in Jandali Khurd village. A police team was immediately dispatched to the scene, where they initiated a thorough investigation into the tragic event.

Complaint Filed by Victim's Brother

Based on a formal complaint lodged by the victim's brother, Rajbir alias Raju, a resident of Hasangarh village in Hisar district, a murder case was registered against the accused, Sukhwinder Singh alias Ghoghar, who resides in Jandali Khurd village, Fatehabad. Om Prakash confirmed that the legal proceedings have been set in motion following the complaint.

Details of the Alleged Assault

In his statement to the police, Rajbir revealed that his sister, Sudesh, was married to Sukhwinder Singh alias Ghoghar, and the couple had two children together. He alleged that the accused had a history of frequently assaulting Sudesh. On March 7, Rajbir received a distressing phone call informing him that Sukhwinder Singh had attacked Sudesh with an axe, resulting in her death.

Upon receiving this information, Rajbir, accompanied by other family members, rushed to Jandali Khurd village. There, they discovered Sudesh lying dead on the floor in a room, a scene that has left the community in shock and mourning.

Arrest and Ongoing Investigation

The police acted promptly after registering the case, arresting the accused, Sukhwinder Singh alias Ghoghar, son of Rajbir Singh. Authorities are continuing their investigation to gather further evidence and understand the full circumstances surrounding this heinous crime.
