Separate Tractor Accident Claims Another Life
In an unrelated incident in the same district, a 50-year-old man died in a tractor accident in Hasanpur village under the Badshahpur police station area. The deceased, Ajay, was a resident of Hasanpur.
The accident happened on Friday evening. Ajay was carrying out routine work within the village using a tractor-trolley when the coupling between the tractor and trolley broke. This caused the vehicle to go out of control, veer off course, and overturn.
Villagers nearby pulled Ajay from under the tractor. He had sustained severe injuries and was taken to a local hospital, where he was declared dead. An autopsy on Saturday confirmed he died from a broken neck bone sustained while trapped under the vehicle. Sub-inspector Ankit from the SPR police post stated the case is being treated as an accident.
