According to a complaint filed by his cousin, Nishant Singh, the incident took place around 12:10 am on March 23. Ayush was returning to his paying guest accommodation after visiting a friend in Sirohal village when the accident unfolded.

Police reports indicate that Ayush was riding his motorcycle, registered as UP16BR7336, when an unknown vehicle struck him from behind. The impact was severe, causing him to fall onto the road and sustain critical injuries. A passerby, witnessing the scene, promptly shifted him to a private hospital via ambulance. Despite medical efforts, doctors at the facility declared him dead upon arrival.
Police Investigation and Legal Action
Following information received from the hospital on March 24, a police team arrived at the facility and recorded the statement of the victim’s cousin. Based on the complaint and the medical report, authorities have registered a case at the Palam Vihar police station. The charges include sections 281 for rash driving, 125A for rash or negligent acts endangering human life, and 106 for causing death due to negligence under the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS).
