The Class 7 student was in her room with her 11-year-old sister, and their grandmother was present upstairs on the terrace. The accused, who works as a staff member for the girl's father, a contractor, allegedly barged into the room and ordered the younger sister to leave.
When the child hesitated, the electrician is said to have grabbed her by the arm and forcefully dragged her into the hall. The survivor recounted that he then pushed her onto the bed, attempted to disrobe her, and molested her. The younger sister, witnessing the terrifying scene, immediately ran to the terrace to alert their grandmother.
