More than 70 Indian students, the majority hailing from Jammu & Kashmir, who were stranded in Iran amidst the ongoing conflict, are scheduled to arrive at Indira Gandhi International Airport in Delhi on Sunday. This development follows their journey through Armenia and Dubai, as announced by the Jammu & Kashmir Students Association on Saturday.
Journey Details and Flight Arrangements
The students are returning via a commercial connection, according to reports. Nasir Khuehami, the national convenor of the Jammu & Kashmir Students Association, provided specific details: "Indian students, along with pilgrims, are travelling on a FlyDubai flight from Zvartnots International Airport in Yerevan, Armenia." He further explained that most of those on board are students from Kashmir who were studying at various universities in Iran.
The first leg of their journey is expected to arrive in Dubai at 5 PM local time. From Dubai, the passengers are scheduled to board another FlyDubai flight to Delhi, ensuring their safe return home.
