The week-long celebration featured a diverse range of activities designed to engage students in meaningful learning experiences about nature and sustainability.
Inaugural Activities for Young Learners
The week began with creative sessions for the youngest students, who participated in leaf and flower crown-making activities. They also recited poems, sang songs, and created drawings that expressed their love for the environment. These activities helped instill a sense of connection with nature from an early age.
Competitions and Performances
Students from various classes actively took part in slogan-writing competitions, role-plays, skits, speeches, and storytelling sessions. These events highlighted the importance of protecting nature and preserving the environment. Additionally, plantation drives, cleanliness campaigns, Eco Quizzes, declamation contests, poster-making activities, and creative presentations were organized to reinforce the message of environmental conservation.
World Environment Day Celebration
On World Environment Day, observed on June 5, the school participated in the "Ek Ped Maa Ke Naam" campaign. Students enthusiastically planted saplings in honor of their mothers and Mother Earth, spreading the message of environmental conservation and sustainable living. This initiative emphasized the role of individuals in nurturing the planet.
Concluding Eco Pledge
The celebrations concluded with an Eco Pledge, where students vowed to adopt eco-friendly habits and become responsible guardians of Mother Earth. The school reinforced the spirit of the occasion with the message: "Small actions by many people can create a greener and better tomorrow." The event encouraged everyone to nurture nature and work towards building a sustainable future for generations to come.
