'Euphoria' season 3 picks up pace with its third episode, featuring Nate and Cassie's eccentric wedding, their mounting debt, and Jules' life as a sugar baby. The episode also marks the long-awaited reunion between Rue and Jules.

Rue and Jules Finally Meet
Rue starts working at a strip club to escape Laurie, to whom she owes millions. She finds temporary happiness with a stripper named Angel, but after their fallout, she travels to meet Jules. This is their first major interaction since season 2. The episode delves into Jules' life: encouraged by a friend to become a sex worker, she dates a 48-year-old man and later a plastic surgeon obsessed with her body. The surgeon convinces her to drop out of art school. Meanwhile, Rue becomes an arms dealer for the strip club owner, working with his second-in-command, Bishop.
Cassie and Nate's Wedding
Jules is invited to Nate and Cassie's wedding, and Rue gives her money for a dress. The wedding begins, but Nate goes missing, causing Cassie to panic. Jules meets Cal (Nate's father, played by the late Eric Dane) for the first time in years, asking, 'Remember me?' The most viral moment is the awkward first dance: Nate smiles and shines, while Cassie cries and says she does not want to be poor. Rue calls Fez (played by the late Angus Cloud), revealing he is in prison and planning to escape using parkour.
Loan Sharks Attack
After the wedding, Nate and Cassie are confronted about a $500,000 loan Nate owes. Cassie gets her nose broken, and Nate is beaten and tortured. Things are about to get worse for the couple.
