Malayalam cinema icon Mohanlal celebrated his 38th wedding anniversary with wife Suchitra on Tuesday, penning a heartfelt note that conveyed the enduring freshness of their bond. The actor shared a photograph of the couple posing beside the Statue of Liberty on Liberty Island in New York Harbor.

"38 years later... and somehow, it still feels like the beginning," Mohanlal wrote as the caption on Instagram. The post quickly garnered widespread attention from fans and well-wishers.
Mohanlal married Suchitra, daughter of Tamil film producer K. Balaji, in 1988. The couple has two children: Pranav and Vismaya. Pranav made his acting debut as a child in Mohanlal's film Onnaman (2001) and has since appeared in several movies.

The 64-year-old actor boasts a career spanning over four decades, with more than 400 films to his credit. He was honored with the Padma Shri in 2001 and the Padma Bhushan for his contributions to Indian cinema. In 2009, he became the first Indian actor to receive the honorary rank of lieutenant colonel in the Territorial Army.

In other news, Mohanlal recently met American electronic DJ and production duo The Chainsmokers during his visit to Dallas, USA. The "#Selfie" hitmakers shared a photo on Instagram posing with Mohanlal. In the image, the two musicians stand on either side of the actor, all smiling at the camera.
"Made a new friend before our show in Dallas @mohanlal," the caption read. The Chainsmokers, known for their EDM-pop style, achieved breakthrough success with their 2014 song "#Selfie." Mohanlal's much-anticipated film Drishyam 3 is set to release in May this year. Directed by Jeethu Joseph, the crime thriller also stars Meena, Ansiba Hassan, and Esther Anil. The actor was last seen in Vrusshabha, a fantasy action film written and directed by Nanda Kishore, featuring Neha Saxena, Samarjit Lankesh, Ragini Dwivedi, Nayan Sarika, and Ajay in supporting roles.
