Jamshedpur Students Earn Prestigious Invitation to Republic Day Celebrations
In a proud moment for the city of Jamshedpur, two talented students from DBMS English School have been selected as special guests for the 77th Republic Day parade at Kartavya Path in New Delhi. The event, scheduled for Monday, will see Jivaj Jayashis Sahoo, a student of Standard VIII, and Saurabh Mishra, a student of Standard X, representing their school and region on this national platform.
Recognition for Innovation and Creativity
Both students are active participants in the school's Atal Tinkering Lab (ATL), where they have developed prototypes and innovative products as part of their educational journey. Their selection highlights the growing emphasis on fostering creativity and hands-on learning in Indian schools.
The Atal Innovation Mission (AIM), operating under the NITI Aayog of the Union government, identified approximately 50 ATL schools from across the country for this honor. DBMS English School stands out as one of these chosen institutions, showcasing its commitment to innovative education.
School Leadership Expresses Excitement
School principal Rajani Shekhar shared her enthusiasm about this opportunity, stating, "We are excited and look forward to meaningful interaction and collaboration with participants from other schools." This sentiment reflects the broader goal of the initiative to promote networking and knowledge exchange among young innovators.
The Republic Day parade at Kartavya Path is a significant national event that celebrates India's democratic values and achievements. Having students from Jamshedpur participate as special guests underscores the city's contribution to educational excellence and innovation.
This recognition not only honors the individual achievements of Jivaj and Saurabh but also serves as an inspiration for other students in the region to pursue innovative projects and academic excellence.
