Jamia Millia Islamia Hosts Major Winter Relief Initiative for Children with Disabilities
A significant winter relief program specifically designed to support children with disabilities and their families was successfully conducted at the prestigious Jamia Millia Islamia campus. The Dr. Zakir Husain Memorial Welfare Society (DZHMWS), in a powerful collaboration with New Socio Economic Research and Development (NSERD), organized the 'Pahal' Winter Relief Initiative – Blanket Distribution drive 2025-26 on February 3rd at the Child Guidance Centre.

Shri Ravi Shanker, Assistant Commissioner of Police for New Friends Colony, addressed the gathering, underscoring the vital importance of close, operational cooperation between law enforcement agencies and dedicated social welfare organizations in building a safer, more inclusive, and genuinely compassionate society. He warmly appreciated the concrete initiatives undertaken by DZHMWS and NSERD for the welfare of children with disabilities and assured continued, proactive support and collaboration from the Delhi Police in all future programs and community outreach activities.
