The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has officially released the much-awaited schedule for the Personality Tests, commonly known as interviews, for the Civil Services (Main) Examination 2025. This announcement follows the declaration of the Main examination results on November 11, 2025. The interview phase is a critical final step for aspirants aiming to join the prestigious civil services of India.

UPSC Interview 2025: Key Dates and First Batch Details

The Personality Tests are scheduled to begin on Monday, December 8, 2025, and will run until Friday, December 19, 2025. Candidates who have successfully cleared the Main examination must immediately visit the official website, upsc.gov.in, to check their specific schedule.

According to the official notice, the Commission has published the roll numbers, interview dates, and session details for the first batch, which comprises 649 candidates. The reporting times are fixed: candidates must report at 0900 hours for the forenoon session and at 1300 hours for the afternoon session.

The UPSC has made it clear that it will not ordinarily entertain any requests for changes in the allotted date or time of the interview. Strict adherence to the published schedule is mandatory for all candidates.

The e-Summon Letters for the candidates in the first batch will be made available on the official websites shortly. These can be downloaded from upsc.gov.in and upsconline.gov.in. It is compulsory for candidates to retain a hard copy of the summon letter for verification at the interview venue.

The Commission has also stated that the interview schedule for the remaining candidates will be uploaded at a later date. Furthermore, candidates will be eligible for travel reimbursement, which is restricted to Second or Sleeper class train fare for Mail/Express trains.
