RBSE Board Exams 2024: Abhay Command to Monitor 1.99 Million Students Across Rajasthan

The Rajasthan Board of Secondary Education (RBSE) is gearing up for its annual board examinations, scheduled to commence on February 12, 2024. In a significant move to ensure integrity and fairness, the board has announced that the Abhay command of every district will be actively involved in monitoring the examination process. This year, a staggering 1,990,057 students are registered to appear for various board exams across the state.

Massive Student Participation and Examination Infrastructure

The examinations will be conducted at 6,194 examination centres spread throughout Rajasthan, highlighting the extensive logistical efforts required. According to RBSE secretary Gajendra Singh Rathore, the student breakdown is as follows:

  • 1,068,109 students are appearing for the Class X examinations.
  • 910,009 students have registered for the Class XII board exams.
  • Additionally, students are participating in the Pravishika and Varishta Upadhaya board exams, which cater to specific educational streams.

This massive turnout underscores the critical role of the RBSE in shaping the academic futures of Rajasthan's youth.

Comprehensive Anti-Cheating Measures Deployed

To conduct cheating-free examinations, the RBSE has implemented a multi-layered security and surveillance strategy. Secretary Rathore emphasized that every possible arrangement has been completed to maintain the sanctity of the exams.

  1. CCTV Cameras: All examination centres are equipped with CCTV cameras to provide continuous video monitoring.
  2. Flying Squads: Specially constituted flying squads will conduct surprise inspections at various centres to deter malpractice.
  3. Special Inspection Teams: Dedicated teams will inspect every examination centre to ensure compliance with board regulations.
  4. Abhay Command Vigilance: The Abhay command units in each district will keep a close vigil on examination centres, adding an extra layer of security and oversight.

These measures are designed to create a transparent and fair examination environment for all candidates.

24/7 Helpline Support for Students and Stakeholders

In addition to physical monitoring, the RBSE has established robust support systems to address any issues during the examination period. A central helpline is already operational 24 hours a day, 7 days a week at the RBSE office. Furthermore, district-level helplines will become active starting from the first day of the examinations, ensuring that students, parents, and centre staff have immediate access to assistance and information.

Secretary Rathore reiterated the board's commitment to providing a smooth and hassle-free examination experience, urging all stakeholders to cooperate in upholding the integrity of the process.
