The Bihar School Examination Board (BSEB) has officially released the hall tickets for students scheduled to appear in the upcoming Intermediate Annual Practical Examination for the year 2026. The Board has issued comprehensive guidelines for students, parents, school principals, and district education officers concerning the download and distribution process of these critical documents.
Practical Exam Schedule and Admit Card Download Window
The Intermediate Annual Practical Examination, 2026 is set to be conducted from January 10, 2026, to January 20, 2026. In preparation, the Board has made the admit cards for practical subjects accessible on its official portal, intermediate.biharboardonline.com.
Candidates can obtain their admit cards online during a specific period: from December 27, 2025, to January 9, 2026. It is crucial to note that these hall tickets are exclusively for the practical tests. The Board will issue a separate admit card for the theory examinations at a later date.
Guidelines for Schools and Students
Heads of recognized +2 level institutions have received specific directives. They must download the admit cards using the login credentials provided by the Examination Committee. After downloading, they are responsible for distributing the signed and officially stamped admit cards to their students.
Furthermore, schools are mandated to maintain a consolidated register with details from all downloaded admit cards and preserve it securely for official audit and record-keeping purposes.
For students, the process is straightforward. They must collect their duly signed and stamped admit card from their school principal. Attendance at the examination is mandatory at the centre, date, and shift specified on the admit card, as finalized by the Centre Superintendent.
Eligibility and Sent-Up Test Rules
The validity of the admit card is subject to strict eligibility criteria. Only students who have been promoted or have passed their sent-up or test examinations will be permitted to sit for the practical exam. Candidates who failed, were absent, or were not promoted in the sent-up test will be barred from appearing.
The Board has also highlighted a critical rule: admit cards have not been generated for candidates from institutions that have not submitted their sent-up or test results to the Committee. Once the results are submitted, the admit cards will be issued. School heads have been sternly warned against issuing hall tickets to ineligible students.
Support for Disabled Candidates and Helpline
In line with government guidelines, disabled candidates who are unable to write independently can request the assistance of a scribe (Shrutilekhak). Applications for this facility must be submitted to the District Education Officer at least one week before the commencement of the examination. Eligible candidates will also receive a compensatory time of 20 minutes per hour.
For any technical difficulties or queries related to downloading the admit cards, students and officials can contact the dedicated helpdesk. Support is available via helpline number 0612-2230039 or email at bsebinterhelpdesk@gmail.com.
