Skoda Kushaq Facelift Launched in India

Skoda India Unveils Refreshed Kushaq SUV with Updated Styling and Features

Skoda India has officially launched the new and updated Kushaq facelift SUV in the Indian market. The company has already opened pre-bookings for the vehicle. Interested customers can now reserve their Kushaq either online or by visiting their nearest Skoda dealership.

Skoda plans to announce the official prices in February 2026. The first deliveries are scheduled to begin from March 2026. This update marks the first facelift for the Kushaq since its original debut in 2021.

Exterior Design Gets a Complete Makeover

The overall silhouette of the SUV remains unchanged. However, Skoda has completely reworked the front and rear ends for a fresh look.

Up front, the Kushaq now sports a redesigned grille with chrome accents. It features slimmer headlamps and a new LED DRL signature that extends across the grille. The lower section gets a fresh skid plate, while the bumper adopts a honeycomb-style design.

Changes along the sides are more subtle. They include newly designed 17-inch alloy wheels and thicker black cladding that enhances the SUV's road presence.

At the rear, the Kushaq gets a redesigned tailgate with new connecting LED taillights. It also features glowing 'SKODA' lettering. Other exterior highlights include a shark fin antenna, a silver skid plate, a rear wiper with washer, roof rails, and an integrated spoiler.

Powertrain Options Remain Unchanged

Mechanically, the Kushaq facelift carries forward the same engine options. It continues to offer two turbocharged petrol engines.

The first is a 1.0-litre, three-cylinder turbo petrol engine that produces 115 horsepower and 175 Nm of torque. The second is a more powerful 1.5-litre, four-cylinder turbo petrol engine that delivers 150 horsepower and 250 Nm of torque.

Transmission options vary between the engines. The 1.5-litre engine comes exclusively with a 7-speed DSG automatic gearbox. The smaller 1.0-litre engine offers a 6-speed manual transmission. It also gets a new 8-speed torque converter automatic, which replaces the previous 6-speed unit.

Interior Receives Feature Upgrades

Moving inside, the overall cabin layout remains familiar with only minor changes. The Kushaq continues to feature a capacitive climate control panel, a two-spoke steering wheel, and control panels.

Feature-wise, the SUV gets significant upgrades. It now comes with a larger 10.1-inch touchscreen infotainment system that supports both Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. Drivers also get a 10.25-inch fully digital instrument cluster.

Other notable features include a six-speaker Skoda sound system with a subwoofer and amplifier, automatic climate control, a panoramic sunroof, and leatherette seats. The front seats are electrically adjustable and come with ventilation.

The Kushaq also introduces an AI companion powered by Google. In a segment-first move, it even includes a rear massager for passengers.

Variant and Color Options Detailed

Skoda is offering the new Kushaq in five distinct variants: Classic Plus, Signature, Sportline, Prestige, and Monte Carlo.

The 1.0-litre engine is available across all five variants. However, the more powerful 1.5-litre engine is offered only with the top-spec Prestige and Monte Carlo variants.

Buyers can choose from eight monotone color options. These include three new shades: Shimla Green, Cherry Red, and Steel Grey. The existing palette continues with Candy White, Carbon Steel, Brilliant Silver, Lava Blue, and Deep Black. Skoda has confirmed that no dual-tone color options are available for this facelift.

Comprehensive Safety and Warranty Package

Skoda India is providing a standard warranty of four years or 100,000 kilometers. Interested customers will have the option to extend this coverage up to six years.

Buyers also receive four years of roadside assistance. They get complimentary labor for the first four services, valid for up to two years or 30,000 kilometers.

Additionally, the Kushaq comes with a six-year corrosion warranty. The paint finish is protected by a three-year warranty.
