A disturbing video showing US Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) agents forcefully detaining a pregnant woman on a snow-covered street in Minneapolis has triggered widespread condemnation. The confrontation occurred on Monday as part of an enforcement action known as 'Operation Metro Surge'. Footage captured by neighbors from multiple angles shows the woman being forced face-down onto the icy pavement. ICE officers can be seen handcuffing her and dragging her across the ground by one arm.
Residents witnessing the scene shouted warnings to the agents, yelling, “She is pregnant! She's pregnant!” and “She can't breathe!” In an attempt to intervene, some bystanders hurled snowballs at the federal officers. The standoff escalated, leading to federal custody for at least four residents who tried to protect the woman, as reported by CBS News.

Tricia McLaughlin, Assistant Secretary, said in a statement last week that ICE officers have arrested more than 400 illegal aliens since the operation began, including individuals accused of being pedophiles, rapists, and violent thugs.
She directly criticized Minnesota Governor Tim Walz and Minneapolis Mayor Jacob Frey, accusing them of failing to protect residents and allowing “monsters and child predators to roam free.” McLaughlin added, “Thanks to our brave law enforcement, Minnesota is safer with these thugs off their streets.”
