LONDON: An independent report into grooming gangs in the UK has revealed that the majority of the perpetrators were Pakistani Muslims. The report states that at least 250,000 white British girls, some as young as 11, have been subjected to gang rape, trafficking, pregnancy, and forced Islamic conversion in the UK since the 1950s.
Key Findings of the Report
MP Rupert Lowe's report details how the perpetrators, "mostly Pakistanis," built operations that trafficked girls between locations, supplied them with drugs and alcohol, passed them between multiple men, and filmed abuse for blackmail. Lowe, the leader of Restore Britain, which has backing from Elon Musk, has vowed to commence legal action against the perpetrators.
He stated that he had to set up his own survivor-led inquiry, the "Rape Gang Inquiry," because "the state and its institutions have failed catastrophically over decades. Police, social services, schools, the NHS, taxi licensing authorities, and governments allowed these gangs to operate with impunity."
Ethnic and Religious Patterns
The report states: "The overwhelming majority of the rape gang networks consisted entirely of men from Muslim backgrounds - predominantly of Pakistani heritage, although smaller groups from Somali, Iranian, Syrian, Turkish and other Muslim origins were involved too." It adds that "successive governments lacked the will to confront the ethnic and religious patterns. The Labour party has particular responsibility," saying the party "prioritised electoral reliance on Muslim voting blocs" and "framed legitimate concerns as far-right agitation."
Modus Operandi
Based on court records and witness testimonies, the report describes how Muslim men would initially befriend the girls, and after a few months, they were taken to flats and hotels where they were raped repeatedly by gangs and told they were "white trash" or "kuffar" (plural for kafir). Many became pregnant. Some gave birth, and their children were removed by the state. "The same networks targeted Sikh girls until Sikh communities mobilised collective male protection and forced the gangs to withdraw," it states.
Recommendations
The report calls for sentencing for such crimes to start at life imprisonment with a minimum of 50 years, and for the death penalty to be reintroduced. It calls for every foreign national convicted of being part of a rape gang to be deported, and any British citizen convicted who holds dual nationality to lose their citizenship. Visas should be denied to nationals from countries disproportionately represented in convictions. "Mosques that harboured perpetrators must face probe and, if found guilty, be closed," it says, and calls for a government task force to be set up to trace and repatriate white girls trafficked by these men.
