Gorakhpur: Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath on Saturday asked all institutions under the Maharana Pratap Shiksha Parishad (MPSP) to create awareness about global challenges, including the ongoing West Asia conflict, and actively promote fuel and energy conservation.
Review Meeting at Gorakhnath Temple
Addressing a review meeting of heads of MPSP institutions at Gorakhnath Temple, the chief minister said that following Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s appeal for fuel conservation and reduction in foreign exchange expenditure was a national responsibility in the present global scenario.
He urged teachers, staff, and students to minimize the use of petroleum products and electricity and to spread awareness among families and society. “When students become aware, the impact automatically reaches every household,” he said.
Training and Skill Upgradation
Yogi also called for continuous training and skill upgrading of teachers and employees through a dedicated platform on the lines of the government’s Karmayogi portal. He stressed adopting modern technology and innovation in institutional functioning.
The chief minister said every institution should have a clear goal and develop its identity through discipline, punctuality, innovation, and healthy competition. He also directed institutions to promote Indian knowledge traditions, maintain clean and disciplined campuses, strengthen libraries, and focus on regular career counseling.
Preparations for Centenary Celebrations
Yogi asked MPSP institutions to begin preparations for the organization’s centenary celebrations in 2032.
